SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy

Who sends the messages
Text messages come from Desert65, an independent Medicare insurance agency serving Arizona, Nevada, Washington and other states. You can reach us at (928) 900-0277 or hello@desert65.com.
How you opt in
We only text people who have asked us to. You give consent in one of these ways:
- You tick the “Text” box in the contact-permission section of a form on this website — for example the Medicare Checkup, a Medicare 101 event registration, or a plan review request. The box is never pre-ticked, and you can submit the form without it.
- You give us your number and ask us to text you in person at a Medicare 101 event, over the phone, or by email.
- You text us first at our business number.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase and is not required to work with us, get a quote, or attend an event. We will never buy, rent or borrow a phone list.
What we send
- Replies to questions you have asked us
- Appointment reminders and scheduling
- Medicare 101 event invitations, confirmations and reminders
- Links to a short questionnaire or a document you asked for
- Annual Enrollment Period reminders and plan-review notices
- Occasional news about Medicare changes that affect you
Message frequency varies. Most people receive only a handful of messages a year, with more during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7).
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Desert65 does not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges will apply according to your plan.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop texting that number. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing after that. You can also call us at (928) 900-0277 or email hello@desert65.com and ask to be removed.
Opting out of texts does not remove you as a client and does not affect your coverage. If you change your mind, reply START or ask us to text you again.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for contact information, or call (928) 900-0277.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your carrier, device or coverage.
Your information
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or your consent to be texted with anyone for their own marketing, and we never share text-message consent or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
